The Urban Studio
communications manager
As the Communications Manager and Consultant for The Urban Studio on the Drawn to Water project, funded through the United States Environmental Protection Agency and administered by Green and Healthy Homes Initiative.
In this role, I lead brand development, created the official website, the creation of accessible, community-centered communications—designing promotional materials, coordinating press and partner outreach, and documenting engagement across workshops and public events.
I also served as lead on the Design + Build program, a Maryland-based youth-led urban design program at the BlackRock Center for the Arts. In my role, I collaborated closely with artists, educators, and program staff to translate environmental programming into clear, welcoming storytelling that increased visibility and participation. My work supported both on-the-ground community engagement and the reporting infrastructure required for a federally funded initiative.
